Overview
The child removes the 10 cylinders from the wooden block, mixes them, and replaces each into its corresponding hole by visual discrimination of height and diameter. This material isolates dimension while the knob provides a precise three-finger grip that prepares the hand for writing. There are four blocks with varying combinations of height and diameter.
