1. Description of Services

montessori.fyi is a membership platform providing AMI-aligned Montessori education resources for parents and educators. Services include:

• ·A library of lessons across Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math, and Cultural areas.
• ·Membership tiers: Free, Parent ($12/mo), Educator ($25/mo), Professional ($50/mo).
• ·AI-powered tools (lesson planner, RAG chatbot) — subject to usage limits by tier.
• ·Community features, newsletter, and journal articles (planned).

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

2. Accounts and Membership

• ·You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• ·You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• ·We use Supabase for authentication (email/password, Google, Apple). You agree to provide accurate information.
• ·Paid subscriptions are managed through Stripe. Billing is recurring. You can cancel anytime via your account settings; no refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
• ·Tier limits (e.g., number of AI plans, saved lessons, planning horizon) are strictly enforced. Attempting to circumvent them violates these Terms.

3. Intellectual Property

• ·All content on montessori.fyi (lessons, text, images, AI outputs) is owned by Red Riot, Inc. or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
• ·You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal or educational (non-commercial) purposes only, consistent with your membership tier.
• ·You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content without express written permission.
• ·User-generated content (custom lessons, notes, AI prompt outputs you save) remains your property, but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use it to provide and improve the Services.

4. User Conduct and Content

You agree not to:

• ·Use the Services for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purpose.
• ·Upload content that infringes intellectual property, is defamatory, or violates privacy.
• ·Attempt to circumvent tier limits, security measures, or rate limits.
• ·Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to access the Site except as expressly permitted.
• ·Share login credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access for violations.

5. AI Features and Data Usage

Our AI tools (lesson planner, chatbot) use retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) over our curated Montessori content.

• ·Prompts and generated outputs are processed transiently.
• ·We do not use your personal data or prompts to train external foundation models.
• ·AI outputs are provided "as is" — they are educational aids, not substitutes for professional advice. You are responsible for verifying accuracy and appropriateness for your child.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

• ·Pricing and tiers are listed on the pricing page and may change with notice.
• ·Subscriptions auto-renew. You authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method.
• ·No refunds for partial months. Downgrading or canceling stops future billing.
• ·We are not responsible for billing disputes with your payment provider.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that content is error-free, that AI outputs are always accurate, or that the Site will be uninterrupted.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Red Riot, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Red Riot, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your content, or your use of the Services.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or at our discretion with notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Certain provisions (IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnification) survive termination.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
